Mission
My mission is to build on my foundation in sports, sales, and event coordination to pursue a career in communications, where I can use storytelling and strategic messaging to create meaningful connections and elevate brands within the sports industry.
Goals
Short-Term Goals
In the short term, I aim to continue expanding my professional network by seeking out new relationships in the industry. I plan to further develop my website with relevant, high-quality work that reflects my skills and interests by adding school and freelance work. I will obtain a communications internship by Fall 2026 where I can gain hands-on experience and deepen my understanding of the field by applying to at least five roles a week starting in June 2026. Additionally, I plan to connect with a mentor in strategic communications who can provide guidance, insight, and support as I begin my career by continuing to build and strengthen relationships within my existing professional network.
Mid-Term Goals
My mid-term goal is to secure my first full-time role in communications within the sports industry following my graduation in December 2026. To achieve this, I plan to continue my mentorship, actively grow my professional network, and strengthen my experience through internships, freelance projects, and relevant certifications in communications and media strategy.
Long-Term Goals
In the long term, I aspire to grow into a leadership role within communications, where I can lead a team and contribute to high-level strategy and execution. I will work for a sports team or brand that aligns with my passions and values, and I am committed to reaching this position within the next five years.
